Poem

Sitting here in the mornings, sleep still heavy in my eyes. I wonder, where am I going and why do I want to cry?
I pray for peace and guidance, to do whatever the Lord wills. Curious as to where He'll lead me, even if it's down a hill?
I'm stuck in second gear, or so that is how it seems. I'm ready for my life to move forward, to see the sunshine beams.
I know there is only a year left, and I want to wait patiently. To see all that He has for me, and look forward to it rejoicingly. © ~E. Miller 2006
